CASE PROCESSING

25 Years of Court Case Management Experience

Sustain’s new, browser-based eCourt case processing system is developed from over 25 years of experience in providing successful DOS- and Windows-based case management systems to large and small courts in ten states and three countries. Backed by the Daily Journal Corporation, a legal industry leader since 1888, Sustain’s eCourt uses the Java2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform for the flexibility and scalability required in today’s dynamic justice environment.

Configurable Flexible Web Design

eCourt’s design features a user-friendly, highly configurable system. It is readily adapted by non-technical personnel to support a wide range of case types and local requirements without expensive customization. eCourt is “database agnostic” and supports leading relational databases.
Native Functionality Includes:

  • Real time courtroom case processing, integrated with the back end for seamless storage of courtroom decisions, plus instant production of orders and invoices
  • Fully integrated document management to give judges access to case files from anywhere
  • Customizable time standards to track and report deadlines, including ‘pending’ and ‘expired’ alerts, integrated with workflow to trigger predefined processes
  • Case joinders that join or relate cases and parties in multiple ways, such as to track families across case types
